Retreatants and residents at YZMC are housed in a variety of accommodations located within the main Center facility or on the surrounding wooded slopes. Housing is mostly shared in rooms, dormitories, and rustic cabins. Visitors may bring their own tents during the warmer months.

The rooms are heated in winter and equipped with beds or comfortable sleeping pads on the floor. (For a list of what to bring, see the FAQ.) Private and semi-private spaces may be available for longer-term trainees. If you would like a private space for your own hermitage retreat, please contact us as far in advance as you can.
